On an ordinary Sunday, we are thrilled to bring you this stunning piece of art and theatre. The "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" drop from Sunday in the Park with George at the newly Tony award winning, Pasadena Playhouse.
The front panel of each bag is cut from a different section the painting drop, so they will vary in appearance greatly. The back panel is cut from the green velour curtain that framed the painting in the production. Each bag has a black recycled polysatin lining and a gold zipper, along with a sewn-in tag noting its origin and a history card with more information. This bag also has loops at either end of the zipper, allowing you to turn the bag into a crossbody or wristlet.
In honoring composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, who was a longtime friend and Board Member of the Dramatists Guild Foundation (DGF), Scenery is donating 10% of the proceeds from this bag to their work to support composers, playwrights, lyricists, and librettists in all stages of their careers. Repurposed donates 10% of the sale price to The Provincetown Theater.
