This bank has a slot in the back, ready for your coins and bills, and an authentic antique post office box door with a nickel finish on the front. This particular door has an eagle with a US shield and two dials. The creator of this bank lists the door as circa 1920. It has box number 117 on an old paper tag behind a glass panel. The combination remains a secret to everyone except the purchaser.
Handmade in California by the Wood Mason, the door is inset into the gorgeous box made from black walnut. With perfectly mitered corners and a rounded back, this is a quality piece of craftsmanship even before the addition of a vintage post office box door. Four felt feet protect your furniture.

About Wood Mason Hardwood Creations
The Wood Mason started out almost 40 years ago as a hobby and quickly became a passion. Her first creations were cribbage boards out of freeform pieces of redwood, and she found people loved them! She was getting paid to do what she loved.
Barbara collected PO box doors and had so many that she needed to find a use for them, so she created her first coin bank. Today this expert woodworker makes beautifully crafted banks with gorgeous cuts of wood and vintage bronze USPS box doors.
