This bank has a slot in the back, ready for your coins and bills, and an authentic antique post office box door made of bronze on the front. This particular door has an eagle with a US shield and two dials. There are no markings on the inside, but the creator of this bank lists it as circa 1902. The large glass panel on the front has no number on. it. The combination remains a secret to everyone except the purchaser.
Handmade in California by the Wood Mason, the door is inset into the gorgeous box made from walnut. This particular bank would look great displayed where it can be seen from all sides, as the rounded back is made with different woods, creating a striped effect. This is a quality piece of craftsmanship even before the addition of a vintage post office box door. Four felt feet protect your furniture.
