Get hooked on the unique design of this Hammer-Head Angler Fish sculpture from Sugarpost! This scary sea creature is composed of various tools, including adjustable wrenches, bearings, and pliers. (Listed below, for those of you who like that sort of thing.) With a hammer for a top fin and an electrical insulator for its esca*, it's a true work of art (and a handy one at that!).
*The esca is the lure that the angler fish dangles in front of its gaping mouth to catch its prey. Yes, we did have to Google that.
Measurements: 19" length from jaw to tip of tail; 14" wide from one wrench head fin to the other; 14" tall from base to top of illicium (the rod that holds the esca, also Googled).
Weight: 12 lbs.
Tools Used: Hammer head for top fin, pipe wrench for back, (2) bearings for eyes, (2) locking pliers for top sides, (2) adjustable wrench handles for bottom sides, (2) adjustable wrench heads and (2) slip joint plier heads for side fins, (2) adjustable wrenches for top and bottom jaws, pair of slip joint pliers and pair of nipping pliers for tail, electrical insulator for the esca.
