Perfect for preschoolers and classrooms, this Alphabet Garland is a thoughtful gift for new parents, teachers, and toddlers alike. This kit is sustainably handmade from the sturdy and colorful pages of baby board books. Made with materials diverted from the landfill, each kit is comprised of two yards of string along with an entire alphabet of pre-punched and brightly colored four-inch-tall letters just waiting to be strung together. It's a decoration, an activity, and a learning aid all in one!
Each of these items is different. The images shown are sample photos and do not show the exact item you are purchasing. Because each is handmade using upcycled materials, you should understand that the product you receive will vary in appearance.
About Attic Journals
Located in Portland, Oregon, Michelle and Miguel found themselves living near the book recycling hub of America. Their passion for saving books (aided by Michelle's degree in English Literature) developed over many years, during which time they cultivated a deep partnerships with libraries and recycling centers whose discarded books go to face the landfill and die. Their passion for rescuing these books and transforming them into something new drives them.
Founded in 2004, Attic Journals is on a mission to give books new life, not necessarily in their previous form. Each book retains its original character and charm and customers appreciate the added functionality of the repurposed books, as well as the undeniably academic look and feel they bring into their homes.
